FIESTA-IoT and IoT-lab both are Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) flagship projects looking at the provisioning of tools, techniques, processes, best practices and facilities for the Experimentation community not only in Europe but world-wide.

At 2016 Netfutures FIESTA-IoT-Lab booth, we will exhibit the progress towards enabling experimentation and testbeds, experts on Experimentation-as-a-Service (EaaS) and Testbed-as-a-Service (TaaS), at the same time we will collect experimenters and testbed requirements to iporve our facilities. Acting as central point of FIRE operations at FIESTA-IoT-Lab booth visitors can find FIRE announcements and demonstrators for visitors and NetFutures community.

FIESTA-IoT in one side provides a Blueprint Experimental Infrastructure for Heterogeneous IoT Technologies enabling Experimentation-as-a-Service. FIESTA-IoT provides tools, techniques, processes and best practices enabling IoT testbed/platforms operators to interconnect their facilities in an interoperable way based upon cutting edge semantics-based solutions. IoT-Lab in the other side provides a research platform exploring the potential of crowdsourcing and Internet of Things for multidisciplinary research with more end-user interactions. IoT-Lab gives the power to the crowd to be at the core of the research and innovation process.
